"We draw from diversity" - we draw even from the youngest!

Diversity is a fundamental value of the modern world, and thus also of our company and the entire Volkswagen Group.

On May 24, 2019, at the premises of our company in Polkowice, SITECH Sp. z o.o. organized for the children of its employees a "Children's Day", combined with the celebration of the world day of cultural diversity.

At the beginning of the event, the children and their parents were greeted by the Director of the Plant - Adam Holewa. Afterward, the children could take advantage of many attractions prepared especially for them, such as a photo booth, bouncy castles and many animations. Also, a real painting car was a unique opportunity for children and their parents to paint with impunity a part of it, to leave their initials or inscriptions.

During the event, an art contest entitled "We are different, but together we can do more - because diversity is cool" was decided. The children showed us how they see and understand this concept in their parents’ workplace by means of various colorful drawings. 

Meeting children was a great lesson in diversity, tolerance, mutual respect, and cooperation.
