Brose Sitech sp. z o.o. is a reputable company belonging to the Volkswagen Group. It specializes in the production of metal car seat frames for selected car models of such brands as Volkswagen, Audi, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Skoda, Seat, and Porsche.
Our company was founded in 1998 in Polkowice by Volkswagen AG and KWD GmbH. Brose Sitech sp. z o.o. comprises of three production plants – in Polkowice, Głogów and since 2016 in Września. There are also two Research and Development offices – in Polkowice and Wrocław.
The Brose Sitech Group also has facilities in Germany (plants in Wolfsburg, Emden, and Research and Development Offices in Wolfsburg and Ingolstadt) and China. We operate in Poland, and our products enter the global market, including Czechia, Spain, Argentina, Germany, South Africa, China, Slovakia and Hungary.
History of Brose Sitech
We are a company with 20 years of experience in designing and manufacturing metal car seat frames, and thus a leader in our industry. It is thanks to our employees and their commitment that we are constantly developing and expanding our offer and opening new plants.
1998
Establishment of SITECH Sp. z o.o.
Establishment of Sitech Sp. z o.o. in Polkowice within the Legnica Special Economic Zone by Volkswagen AG and KWD GmbH.
2003
Construction of II, III and IV production hall
The creation of the production halls, together with their complete equipment with machinery, made it possible to increase production threefold.
2009
Start of modular seat production
The combination of modular components, separately for seat and backrest, made it possible to create any type of seat for different car models.
2013
II plant in Głogów, R&D office in Wrocław
Opening of the Sitech Sp. z o.o. Branch in Głogów. Opening of the Car Seat Competence Center in Polkowice developing its own structures.
2015
Start of MLB production
For the first time in Poland, we used modern technological solutions in the production of car seats. The solutions used are increasing the strength and rigidity of the frames.
2016
III plant in Września JIT Crafter
Delivering the product on time and in the right order to the production line.
2018
20 years of SITECH
Within twenty years, the company's area has quadrupled. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary, representatives of Volkswagen Group and representatives of the world of politics and science expressed their appreciation for SITECH's achievements.
